Our first speaker will be Lisina Gut (www.cicciolasani.ch), who will take us withe her
on a journey that help the participants understand their senses in respect to food
and eating in all its bandwidth. The target is to form a learning environment through
haptics, visuals, smells, sounds, tastes, and kinetics.
Ever since Lisina Gut can remember, food has played a powerful role in her life by
triggering emotions in incomparable ways. Whether it is the intense feeling of
security evoked by the smell of fresh toast and coffee in the morning, the soothing
effect of mom’s spaghetti after a challenging day, or the tingly excitement biting into
the first ripe strawberry of the season. Food has the capacity to do magic: it can
ease pain, brighten a bad day and bring people together. Three years ago Lisina
decided to turn her passion into her career. She creates multi-sensual experiences,
combines art, science, education and cuisine in a challenging but always surprising
way.
